DO YOU HAVE A HOME IMPROVEMENT PROJECT SCHEDULED?
During the pandemic people are working and spending more time at home. This time at home has provided time to do more home projects.
A recent report shows that there is also a big increase in accidents associated with these projects. 300,000 injuries were associated with outdoor work using power tools or ladders.
If you have a project planned, please take extra safety precautions! Us men are guilty of taking on home improvement projects that maybe should be hired out to a professional.
I am guilty of trying to do projects that I was used to doing when I was younger. It is hard to accept that as I get older I need to back off or risk having a bad injury.
I know I have a few projects that I would like to get done but two are just too much for me now. One of these is to change light fixtures on the eve of the second story of our house to motion sensor units.
The other was to trim and take out some overgrowth of bushes in the back. Well a chain saw would be the fastest way to get this done. However, I decided to pay a lawn company to do for me.
Stay safe everyone.
